The price depends on the type of boat, duration, and whether you want a private skipper. Small speedboats for self-drive might start around €150–€250 per day, while private skippered boat tours typically range from €300–€600 for a half-day or full-day trip. Luxury yachts or large group charters can cost more. For up-to-date pricing, check our Dubrovnik boat rental options.

Across Croatia, prices vary by region and boat size. For example: - Small motorboats: €100–€300 per day (often self-drive) - Mid-sized boats with skipper: €300–€700 per day - Luxury yachts: €1,000+ per day - Rental rates also depend on the season—summer months (June–September) tend to be more expensive. Always ask what’s included (fuel, skipper, equipment) before booking.

Yes, if you plan to rent and drive a boat yourself, Croatian law requires you to have a valid boating licence (and ID). If you don’t have one, don’t worry! You can still book a private boat tour with a professional, licensed skipper who handles the navigation for you. This is a popular option for visitors who want to relax and explore worry-free.

Fuel is typically an extra cost unless included in your rental agreement. Prices can vary, but expect around €1.50–€2.00 per litre. For a small speedboat, fuel costs for a day trip might be €50–€150 depending on distance and speed. Always check if fuel is included when comparing rental offers—it can make a big difference to your budget.
